I began dancing at the age of 3 and it has always been a part of my life in many ways.
I gained my C.S.T.D. Teacher’s Diploma in Theatrical, Ballet and Highland and operated my own dance school for a number of years, until closing it to attend to my family’s needs.
My own two daughters then started their journey into dance and I continued to teach until 2011. I finally then became a Dance Mum to my girls, being able to be there for them and enjoyed watching them grow as dancers.
I have worked within the field of children and families all of my working life and continue to do so currently.
In 2018, I became involved with Ambiance Dance in an Administration capacity and quickly realised how much I had missed being a part of the Dance World.

I have been a part of the dancing community for the last 17 years as a Dance Mum. I have enjoyed watching my 2 daughters and their friends grow in this time in both Dance and with the life friendships they have made.
During our dance journey I have met some wonderful people who I now call my family and friends. Additional I own and have worked in our family business doing the accounts/administration from the day we opened the doors in 1995, so when my girls became independent and did not need me to run them around to dance anymore I become Miss Tania’s admin person so as she can focus on all the wonderful children and helping them reach their goals and dreams.
I have known Tania and her family for over thirty years due to church connections as a child and to be re-connected all this time later is fate. We are family and that is what you will become when joining the Ambiance Dance Team.
